That's it from the comm box. It was a pleasure bringing the live coverage for you all. This is me, Arjun Bhalla signing off on behalf of my fellow commentator Arijit Kundu. Do join us tomorrow in our ball-by-ball commentary of the Super50 Cup. Till then, ta-da!!
Arjun: With this win, the Barbados Pride is again in the contest. Jason Holder's troop would need a win in their last game and they can fancy their chances for the knockouts, whereas, one more embarrassing loss for the Volcanoes can kick with out of the competition.
Arjun: After an applaudable performance in the first innings, where they put a mammoth total on board, they turned out lethal as a bowling unit in the chase. Bishop started the party for Barbados by picking the first wicket and then started the Akeem Jordan show!! Jordan first picked his first two wickets in his second over, followed up another, and so on. In no time, the pacer took a fifer and the Volcanoes were eight down as Chemar chipped in with a scalp in between Jordan's assault. Then Nurse got a wicket and Chemar took his second to finish off the game!!!!
Arjun: Game ends!!! The Windward Islands Volcanoes have lost their clash against the Pride by a massive margin of 173 runs!!! This game showed Jason Holder's side is really a dominant force and they can take on any team on their day and crash them apart, and this game was a perfect example of it!!! At the start of this game, all the odds were against the Pride, they were coming up with three consecutive losses and one more loss would have knocked them out of the tournament, but when all the critics wrote them off, the Pride fought for their pride and thrashed the Volcanoes in this encounter.
34.4 Chemar Holder to Preston McSween
W Length delivery outside off, the batsman feathers it away into the hand of the keeper and the Volcanoes are all out. The batsman looked to play it along the line of the ball but was much away from the lie and therefore gifted away his wicket to the lanky fast bowler.
34.3 Chemar Holder to Obed McCoy
1 Single is taken at mid-on region of a straight drive along the line of middle stump. A diving save by the fielder there to save a couple.
34.2 Chemar Holder to Obed McCoy
0 Bang on target, on the middle and leg , the batsman works across and inside edges into the pads.
