Nikhil: Warriors will be disappointed with their bowling efforts. They got to a good total after put into bat. Simmons was destructive at the start attacking the bowlers. He was dropped a few times and he made Arabians pay for it by remaining unbeaten on 54 off 31 balls. Brandon King played well at the start and got them to a good start. He was looking good but run himself out. Pooran played his trademark shots but could only manage to score 19. Powell hit few boundaries at the end and helped the Warriors to reach 127. Allen and Emrit bowled well for Warriors. Allen took 2 wickets and gave away only 11 runs in 2 overs.
Nikhil: Phew, what a start to this tournament!!! Arabians should have won this easily but that's what this shorter format is all about. A couple of wickets and you are back in the game. Arabians get two points. Abdul Shakoor was the star of the match hitting some exquisite shots. He attacked from ball one and smashed the bowlers all over the park. The other batsmen were struggling to get going and Shakoor on the other hand was smashing the ball all over the park. Hafeez played well in the middle and helped the Arabians get close to the total. He couldn't stay till the end as he holed out trying to clear the boundary. Shakoor got out with 8 balls to go and the pressure was back on Arabians. Parnell bowled an excellent last over, he bowled 3 yorkers in 4 balls. Arabians needed 5 off 2 balls and a misfield off the penultimate ball of the last over resulted in a boundary. Hossain managed to hit a boundary of the last ball to finish off the innings for his team.
