When the 2017 IPL Auctions were underway, few gave Ishank Jaggi a chance to feature in the Auction, leave alone being drafted into the side. But as luck would have it, Jaggi was going through a consistent run of form in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 league. He scored 247 runs in nine games with a top score of an unbeaten 75 for Jharkhand at the end of the tournament. He wasn’t a regular feature in the 2017 season for KKR and made just two appearances for the side where he scored 33 runs.
