Player Bio

A right-handed middle-order batsman, Sharad Vesawkar is a professional cricketer for Nepal who first arrived at the domestic stages in 2004, making his debut in first-class cricket against UAE and the same year, he represented Nepal in the 2004 U-19 World Cup.

Ten years later, Sharad made his international debut in a T20I fixture against Hong Kong on March 16th, 2014. The 32-year old has been a constant inclusion in the Nepal squad since his debut, playing multiple match-winning knocks including the premier 2014 T20 World Cup, scoring 91 runs in three games.

Born and raised in UAE, Veswkar’s aggressive gameplay makes him one of the most lethal cricketers with boatloads of experience at the highest level. He has become a mainstay for the South Asian country and would be hoping to take Nepal cricket at new heights in the upcoming years.
