Young up-and-comer wicketkeeper batter hailing for South Africa, Sinethemba Qeshile who made his international debut in March 2019.

Qeshile made his List A debut, in 2017-18, during the domestic One-Day Cup, while his first-class debut came in the 2017-18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup. The wicketkeeper batter was highly impressive during his maiden domestic season but wasn’t lucky enough to make the cut for that year’s U-19 squad for the Junior World Cup.

However, bigger opportunities were awaiting for the young up-and-comer. Ahead of 2018-19, Qeshile was awarded a senior contract by Cricket South Africa, before earning Domestic Newcomer of the Season at Cricket South Africa's annual award ceremony that season.

A few months later, the young made his big debut for the Proteas, in the T20I series against Sri Lanka, in March 2019. On that tour, he played two T20Is, where he didn’t bat but took three jaw-dropping catches.

In April 2021, Qeshile was named in the South Africa Emerging Men's squad for their six-match tour of Namibia, before earning a spot in the ‘A’ series against India in November 2021. The youngster has it all in him to represent his country at the highest level, and fill in the big boots of Quinton de Kock, whenever required.
