Player Bio

A lethal right-arm pacer, Fayyaz Butt is a professional Omani cricketer who was a part of Pakistan’s U-19 setup in the 2010 World Cup held in New Zealand.

Fayyaz moved to Oman and immediately caught the selector’s eye making his List A debut against Canada in the World Cricket League Divison two tournament in February 2018.

More than a useful lower-order batsman, Fayyaz all-round exploits at the domestic level saw him cementing a permanent place in Oman’s white-ball squad. With Oman gaining ODI status in April 2019, he made his debut in ODI cricket against Namibia and was recently named in Oman’s squad for the 2021 T20 World Cup.
