A wily right-arm wrist spinner and an aggressive lower-order batsman, Mohammed Nadeem is a professional Omani cricketer who made his first professional appearance for Oman in the 2014 ACC Premier League making his debut against Nepal in May 2014.
Some ordinary performances for the then 32-year-old saw him sidelined from the national squad. The Sialkot-born all-rounder bounced back with some match-winning performances over ODI nations, Scotland and UAE. With Oman gaining ODI status in 2019 after finishing in the top 4 of World Cricket League Division 2, he made his ODI debut against Papua New Guinea on April 27th, 2019.
Since his comeback to the Omani national team in 2016, Nadeem has become one of the most vital cogs in the current setup. Coming into this side with boatloads of experience, the 39-year old is in the twilight of his career and he would be hoping to give everything in what could be his final ICC tournament.
