Player Bio

Lorraine Phiri is a right-arm off-break bowler who plays for the Zimbabwe national cricket team in the shorter formats of the game.

Phiri made her Zimbabwe debut in 2019 and since then is working on her game to cement a place in the national side.

She made her T20I debut in the first game of the series against Namibia and went wicketless in the match as Zimbabwe won the match by 5 wickets.

After some decent outings in the shortest form of the game, Phiri was a surprise inclusion in the Zimbabwe ODI squad to take on Pakistan in 2021. In her debut match, Phiri again went wicketless as Pakistan thrashed Zimbabwe by 178 runs.

Still relatively raw at the moment, Phiri needs to work on her bowling in order to become a better international player.
