Player Bio

Born in Hague, Robin Rijke is a professional women’s cricketer for the Netherlands national team. A prolific middle-order batter, the youngster first announced her arrival at the international stages in 2018.

Robin made her T20I debut against UAE women in the World T20 Qualifier on July 7th, 2018. Her arrival sparked various controversies related to illegal bowling action and the ICC found her guilty of it, ordering an immediate suspension from all forms of cricket in August 2019.

The 24-year old made a comeback with completely improved bowling action and cemented her place in the Dutch women’s squad.
