Player Bio

Chedean Natasha Nation is a batting all-rounder who performs her stunts both with bat and ball and can occasionally keep the stumps. Hailing from Jamaica, Natasha has been representing West Indies since 2008 and is a middle-order pinch hitter and a medium pacer.

The Jamaican-born all-rounder made her international debut in 2008 on a tour of Ireland where she got her maiden T20I and ODI cap. In 2008-09, Natasha played a few T20I games and a handful of ODIs before the selectors dropped her after mediocre performances in both formats.

The all-rounder made a comeback after missing out from the World T20 victorious squad and hasn’t dropped a beat since. In October 2016, Natasha was recalled to the national team for the tour of India. Post her comeback, she has been playing a vital role in West Indies’ success.

The veteran played in the 2017 World Cup in England and scored 172 runs. A year later, the national selector named her in the squad for the World T20 to help the national side retain the glory, however, that didn’t happen.

Natasha has found her peak very late in her career and has been performing well since her comeback. She is a hard-hitter of the cricket ball and has the ability to finish off games against any bowling attack, though inconsistency has been her biggest setback.
