A doughty right-handed wicket-keeper batter, Abdul Shakoor is a professional cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates.
Born in Sharjah, Shakoor made his T20I debut for UAE against Scotland in 2015 and scored just 1 run in his debut match.
In the same year, he made his ODI debut against Hong Kong in the 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.
Shakoor was included in the Maratha Arabians squad for the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. In the tournament opener against Northern Warriors, Shakoor showed his batting prowess with a blistering knock of 73 from just 28 deliveries that garnered praise from the cricketing fraternities.
Shakoor will be looking to continue his good performance in the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League as well. An explosive batter, he has an array of shots and it makes him a wily customer in a format like T10.
