Player Bio

Son of former Rugby player, David Sole, Tom Sole is a bowling all rounder who plays for Scotland national cricket team.

He made his List-A debut for Northamptonshire against the touring South African side in 2017. Sole made an instant impact by scoring 54 off just 43 balls against a strong Proteas attack.

The following year, Sole made his Scotland debut in an ODI game against Ireland. He scored a quickfire 20 off 14 deliveries and picked up 2 crucial wickets in the game. But despite his all round efforts, Ireland won that game.

During a 2018 World Cup Qualifying game against Hong Kong, Sole took 4 top order wickets as Hong Kong were bundled out for just 92. For his bowling efforts, the offie was awarded the player of the match.

He made his T20I debut for Scotland against Netherlands in 2019.

The future of Scotish cricket, Sole is a really good all round player whose ability to pick wickets at crucial junctures has garnered praise from everyone.
