Player Bio

Aizaz Mohammad Khan, a prodigious cricketer being his country's backbone for almost a decade, has bagged 74 international wickets for Hong Kong.

At just 16, Khan grew famous among the associate cricket world after his splendid show against the USA in the 2010 U-19 World Cup qualifiers, where he slammed 25-ball-30 and pocketed 2 wickets.

The medium-pace allrounder grew in stature; his 8-ball-24 against Italy at the 2011 World Cricket League Division Three saw Hong Kong get promoted to Division Two. Later, at the 2012 ICC Men's T20 Qualifier, he scalped ten wickets in eight matches, including 5/25, against USA, sealing 11th place for Hong Kong.

Hong Kong's #11 made his T20I debut against Nepal at the 2014 ICC Men's World Twenty20 and got out without scoring. However, few months later, he made his ODI debut against PNG, with a sizzling 42 while coming to bat at the 8th position.

The Hong Kong international's notable performance came in a T20I against Nepal at Colombo, with 2/4 off his four overs, two excellent catches and a vital 21 that led Hong Kong to win a low-scoring thriller.

In September 2019, Aizaz was named Hong Kong's T20I captain for the 2019–20 Oman Pentangular Series and the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier in UAE after Anshuman Rath quit the side to pursue a career in India.

In July 2022, Khan became the first-ever Hong Kong player to pick 50 T20I wickets. He was also influential in his side's successful campaign at the 2022 Asia Cup Qualifiers in Oman.
