Tobias Visee

Tobias Visee is a Dutch international cricketer who has all the ingredients of a T20 superstar. Coming from the age-group road, he has modelled his game to become one of the best batsmen from the Netherlands. Visee is a swashbuckling open-batsman and an occasional wicketkeeper. 

Born in the Hague, Visee donned the Netherlands jersey at the under-15, under-17, and then progressing to under-19 level. He moved up to play with the senior boys in 2015 when the promising batter made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in 2015, even before playing a single First-Class game. 

Visee’s First-Class debut came after two years during the ICC Intercontinental Cup of 2015-17. Later that season, he made his List-A debut and performed well in the white-ball form of the game. The Hague-born made his ODI debut in 2019, however, he has been a regular T20I agent for the Dutch side since 2017. 

He was named in the Dutch squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the UAE where he played a career-defining knock of 68 runs against Hong Kong. With the Netherlands, not a full-member nation yet, Visee has only had limited opportunities to prove his true talent, but he surely has to work on the consistency factor.
