Player Bio

Joshua Brian Little is a left-arm quick who represents Ireland internationally. The young pacer has the tendency to make batters tremble against him. Little made a quick progression on his ODI debut itself where he scalped a four-wicket haul and make the chase pretty difficult for England.

The seamer comes from a sporting background and his two sibling sisters also represent Ireland on the world stage. Little is a product of the Irish domestic circles where the southpaw represents Leinster Lightning.

Although he made his international debut even before playing a domestic game. At an age of 16 years, the quickie made his T20I debut against Hong Kong in 2016. Later that year, Little's talent caught the selectors' eye which led him to get picked for the 2016 U-19 World Cup.

In 2017, the pacer was named the Irish squad to tour India for the T20I series against Afghanistan, however, the teenager had to miss international games to write his school exams. The next year, the pacer donned the Irish colours during the U-19 World Cup of 2018.

In May 2019, the Dublin-born was picked for the one-off ODI against touring England to make his debut in the 50-over format where he teased the then number one ranked T20I batsman, Dawid Malan, with his pace and accuracy. Since then, Little has been a regular for Ireland in both the limited-overs formats.

With age on his side, Little seems to be the leader of the bowling pack for Ireland. Provided the Irish all-rounder maintains his fitness right then, the pacer has the potential to serve his nation for a long time, across all formats.
