Player Bio

Jagravi Rajendra Pawar, a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler, was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Pawar plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Women's Premier League and for the Mumbai Women's Squad in domestic cricket.

Pawar started playing cricket in the bustling streets of Mumbai, where she honed her craft and performed in domestic and local competitions. She thinks that perseverance pays off because the selectors were impressed by her commitment and bowling consistency, which resulted in her being added to the Mumbai Women's cricket squad.

Mumbai's successful run in the 2023–24 Senior Women's T20 Trophy campaign was greatly aided by Pawar. She has taken four wickets with an outstanding economy of 4.20 in five Women's Domestic One-Day Internationals. Her ability to use the circumstances to her advantage while bowling under pressure is her strength.

Pawar's little accomplishment was sufficient to get the WPL scouts' attention. With her off-break bowling, Pawar gave the RCB the variation they desired in their bowling attack.

At a base price of 10 lakhs, RCB acquired her. She was able to demonstrate her skills on a bigger stage, thanks to this opportunity. The team management and Captain Smriti Mandhana - aware of her potential - will look to unleash Pawar at the ideal moment for her debut, even though she is a new member of the team.

Her passion off the field has been social media, especially Instagram, where she posts details about her cricketing routines, gives the younger generation expert advice, and much more.
