She was born on August 4, 2004, in Andhra Pradesh and went on to represent her home team, Andhra Women’s Team, in the domestic circuit. From an early age, it was clear that she loved cricket. Charani was quickly enrolled in a nearby cricket academy to refine her abilities, where she cultivated her gift as a flexible all-around player. Her admission into professional cricket was made possible by her unstoppable performance in the junior-level competition.
Charani began her professional career with the Andhra team, where she established herself as a dependable batter and bowler. Her next move was to concentrate on her career by attending the 2025 WPL auction. The Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians were the two major teams interested in Charani at the December 2024 auction. The Delhi Capitals eventually acquired the up-and-coming superstar when the bid increased to 55 lakh.
She is an aggressive hitter who enjoys completing the game. She is incredibly skilled against both pace and spin, and her ability to adjust to different conditions gives the batting lineup more versatility. She is a magician with a ball. She is challenging for a bowler to face because of her slower deliveries, which are highly concealed, and the variations she uses as armour.
The up-and-coming superstar aims to be a regular player on the national team. Her performances in domestic leagues have sparked discussions about potential inclusion in the national team.
