Player Bio

Pratham Singh is a left-arm batter hailing from Delhi. He plays for the Railways in India’s domestic cricket circuit. The southpaw is an attacking batter who loves to play big shots and can hit the ball all around the park.

Pratham made his List A debut in the 2016-17 season of Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) as he was part of Railway’s squad. The player managed to impress the management in his first season and has become an indispensable part of the team ever since.

His impressive performances for the Railways fetched him his first IPL contract in 2017, where he represented the Gujarat Lions led by Suresh Raina.

The Delhi-born lad made his domestic T20 debut in the 2018-19 edition of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) for the Railways.

Later in the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) management went for Pratham and bought him at his base price of INR 20 lakhs.
