Player Bio

Born on December 15, 2003, in Patiala, Mannat Sanjeev Kashyap is a promising Indian all-rounder. Mannat played a pivotal role in the ICC U-19 India Women team’s triumph at the T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa.

Not particularly inclined towards studies, Mannat found her passion in cricket. Starting with neighbourhood boys, she became the sole female player in her cricket academy, receiving strong support from her male counterparts.

In 2018, under the guidance of coaches Sunil Saggi and Juhi Jain, Mannat initially trained as a pacer and later transitioned to spin bowling. Overcoming challenges like bowling from right to left, she honed her skills through rigorous practice sessions involving 200-300 deliveries to enhance stamina.

Mannat, a slow left-arm orthodox, wreaked havoc against Scotland in the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, securing a four-wicket haul. She also scalped one wicket in the final of the tournament, grabbing a total of nine wickets.

On December 9, 2023, Mannat was signed by Gujarat Giants (GG) for INR 10 lakh in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction.
