An aggressive opening batter Shweta Sehrawat, is an all-rounder hailing from Delhi. She is a right-handed batter, and a part-time right-arm off-break bowler; making waves with her impressive performances.

In November 2022, the young girl captained the India B team to the title in the Women's Under-19 Challenger Trophy. She was also the top-scorer of the tournament, with 163 runs at an impressive average of 40.75.

Sehrawat's impressive leadership skills and on-field performance were also recognized as she was selected to captain the India Women's U-19 team in a five-match T20 series against New Zealand Women's U-19 team, where the 18-year-old led her team to a 5-0 series win.

The young girl grabbed the attention of cricket enthusiasts and in December 2022, Sehrawat was selected as the vice-captain of the Indian squad for the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. Standing up to expectations, the 18-year-old amassed an unbeaten 92 off 57 balls against South Africa, including 20 fours, and became the first Indian to score a fifty in the ICC Women's U-19 World Cup.

Sehrawat's talent did not go unnoticed, and in the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) auction, she was picked up by the UP Warriorz (UPW) for a whopping INR 40 lakhs. This selection in the WPL is an excellent opportunity for the Delhi-born to showcase her skills and learn from some of the best players in the world.
