Player Bio

Born on January 01, 2000, Amanjot Kaur is a bright batting all-rounder who represents the Indian women’s team.

In her teenage years, her father, who was a carpenter, quit his job and relocated to help her daughter build a career in cricket.

The 22-year-old originally played for Punjab from 2017 to 2019 in the domestic circuit, before switching to Chandigarh and representing them until 2022. She changed her mind to again play for Punjab from the 2022-23 season.

Kaur garnered 104 runs in four innings for India C in the Senior Women’s One Day Challenger Trophy 2021-22.

Representing India A in the Senior Women's T20 Challenger Trophy 2022-23, the talented batter mustered 75 runs at an average of 75. She impressed all by scoring 192 runs in six innings of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy in November 2022.

With her ability to churn out runs in crunch situations, the lower-middle order batter earned a national call-up for the tri-series in South Africa, also involving West Indies. In her first T20I innings against Proteas Women, the skillful batter remained unbeaten on 41* to help India secure a hard-fought victory and was adjudged the Player of the Match.

In February 2023, Mumbai Indians secured her services for INR 30 Lakhs in the Women’s Premier League.
