Player Bio

Hailing from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Kesavarajugari Anjali Sarvani is a left-arm medium pacer playing for India. Her cricketing journey started when she was twelve, playing with her neighbour's boys.

Anjali's passion for cricket has been a driving force in her voyage, which began when she was selected for the India U-19 Women's Cricket team in 2012. The 25-year-old played for her state between 2012–13 and 2019–20.

The Kurnool-born was accredited as the best bowler when she played for South Zone against North Zone in the 2017–18 Senior Women's Cricket Inter Zonal Three-Day Game, which caught the attention of the Railways' Women selector and got the offer to play for Railways' Women.

Anjali came into the limelight when she was called into the Indian squad last year. She received her debut cap from the legendary Harmanpreet Kaur and impressed everyone with her ability to swing the ball, playing against the visiting Australia Women.

The rising star's talent and hard work didn't go unnoticed. Years of hard work and dedication towards cricket paid off when she was finally brought by UP Warriorz (UP-W) for a staggering INR 55 Lakhs in the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) auction. Anjali's selection in the WPL is an excellent opportunity to showcase her skills and learn from some of the best players in the world.
