Player Bio

Born on January 29, 2003, Suryansh Shedge represents Mumbai in the Indian domestic circuit. He has proved himself in the different age group levels of the Mumbai Club cricket. Shedge specializes on the batting front but has also honed his skills with the ball.

It was in 2018 when the youngster impressed the selectors in the DV Subba Trophy by slamming 126 and picking six wickets to secure a victory for Mumbai against Andhra Pradesh.

However, the right-handed batter shot to fame by slamming 326* of 137 balls for Mumbadevi against the Gundecha Education team in 2019. Two years later, Shedge smashed 101* off 58 balls for MIG Cricket Club in the Young Comrade Cricket Club to stake a claim for a place in the U-19 side.

Playing for Indian Oil Sports Club, the explosive batter returned with an ominous knock of 141 off 110 balls in the 2nd Times Shield tournament while batting alongside experienced Mumbai players. The consistent performances in the U-19 tournaments organized by Mumbai Cricket Association helped Shedge to be named in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 squad. He also replaced Shardul Thakur in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy squad.

In May 2023, Shedge was named as a replacement for injured Jaydev Unadkat in the Lucknow Super Giants squad during the Indian Premier League 2023.
