Player Bio
With 33 wickets and 594 runs, Parveez Rasool was the leading run-getter and the highest wicket-taker for J&K in the Ranji Trophy 2012-13 season. He followed up with an impressive seven for 45 against the visiting Australian side in a warm-up game at Chennai in early 2013. He has received high praise from former India spinner Bishan Singh Bedi and fellow off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Signed by the Pune Warriors India on the back of a successful domestic season, Rasool became the first player from Jammu & Kashmir to play in the Indian Premier League. He represented the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, and was traded to RCB ahead of Vivo IPL 2016.
