Player Bio

Born on December 13, 1998, Sadaf Shams is a top-order batter and a useful fast bowler.

Shams made her List A debut in the 2017 edition of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah National Women Cricket Championship. She scalped three wickets in as many appearances at an economy of 3.13.

Then, the all-rounder picked three wickets and scored 24 runs in four appearances of the 2018/19 edition of the Departmental T20 Women's Cricket Championship.

However, the skilful player could not continue her good form; she was not given enough opportunity in the next edition of the T20 Tournament. It was the 2021/22 edition of the Pakistan Women's One-Day Cup, which changed the life of the talented cricketer. She scored 164 runs in seven innings, with a top score of 37.

In May 2022, the Lahore-born was named in the squad for the Sri Lanka series; but is yet to make her debut.

A couple of months later, Shams received her maiden central contract from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

With the capability to contribute in both departments, Shams is expected to get an international game under her belt shortly.
