Daniel O'Driscoll, born on October 10, 2002, is a talented young wicketkeeper-batter who was born and bred in Hillingdon, Middlesex. He completed his education at Ruislip High School in Middlesex.
Cricket was an integral part of Daniel's life since his childhood and he kept his footsteps in the Middlesex academy at a very tender age of 10. Since then, he has gone on to represent Middlesex for different age group levels over the years.
In 2018, the Hillingdon-born cricketer made it to the Elite Player Group within the academy of Middlesex CCC through some eye-catching performances and constantly motivating his teammates from behind the sticks.
The gloveman’s breakthrough season came in 2020 while playing for the Middlesex U-19s, with some handy contributions with the bat while coming at different positions and a potential game-changer behind the stumps. This earned him a chance to feature in the Middlesex Second XI team for the 2020-21 season.
The young wicketkeeper-batter has also represented the Ickenham Cricket Club in the Thames Valley Cricket League for almost two years.
The 19-year-old signed his first-ever professional cricket contract with Middlesex CCC in November 2021. He is rearing to play cricket at the highest level for both Middlesex and England.
