Player Bio

Shivam Singh, a dynamic Indian domestic cricketer representing Bihar, stands out as an all-rounder. His unique blend of skills includes being a right-handed batter and an off-spinner, making him a versatile player on the field.

Originating from Kaimur, Bihar, Shivam made a significant impact with a remarkable feat. He smashed a double-hundred, precisely 210 runs off 71 balls, in a local T20 match, a performance that truly underlines his potential.

The talented batter received an early call-up to domestic cricket as he made his First-Class debut for Bihar in the Ranji Trophy 2021-22. He played only two matches in the season.

Shivam, known for his power-hitting prowess, attracted the attention of Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction. The team placed an INR 20 lakh bid on him, a testament to his growing recognition and potential in the professional cricket arena.

Although the Bihar-born player had a very small sample size to justify his IPL selection, he showed great temperament, which was on display for everyone to see in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23.

Days after getting the IPL contract, Shivam scored his maiden FC hundred against Mizoram. His 323-ball 110 exuded confidence, which had been missing in his game up until then.

He was the third-highest run-scorer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2023. While playing for Dindigul Dragons, he piled up 356 runs in nine innings, laced with four fifties.
