Player Bio
Pramod MadushaOne of the most exciting fast bowling prospects of Sri Lanka, Pramod Madushan has the knack of taking wickets with his slower balls and yorkers.

He made his First-Class debut in February 2015 for Tamil Union, and returned with three wickets. In the following year, Madushan impressed in his T20 debut with figures of 3/17 in four overs.

Since then, the right-arm pacer never looked back and has been a consistent wicket-taker.

Madushan received a national recall in June 2022 after picking four wickets in a List-A game against Australia A, thus helping Sri Lanka A to level the series.

In his ODI debut against Australia, the 28-year-old gave away 13 runs in three overs, while taking the wicket of Mitchell Marsh.

In the following month, Madushan was signed by Dambulla Giants for the 2022 edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) .

With five wickets in three games of Sri Lanka’s premier List-A tournament, the Hambantota-born seamer was named in the Asia Cup 2022 squad.

In his T20I debut against Pakistan, Madushan picked two wickets, and was retained for the Asia Cup Final as well.

The skilful pacer broke the back of Pakistan’s line-up by finishing with figures of 4/34 and helping Sri Lanka lift their sixth Asia Cup title.
