Player Bio

Thomas Kelly is a talented batter who was born in Ashford and plays for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League.

A free-flowing right-handed batter, Kelly is known for his aggressive batting and his ability to score runs quickly.

Having risen through South Australia’s Under-23 setup, Kelly was touted as the future of Australian cricket. He was drafted in the Strikers squad ahead of the 2021-22 Big Bash League season.

He made his much-awaited T20 debut for Strikers against Scorchers and scored a quick-fire 15-ball 26 which was not enough to steer his side past the winning line.

Still young at the moment, Kelly has all the time in the world to work on his skills and who knows, maybe he can be a future superstar for Australia.
