She gained the limelight by winning the College Sport Wellington 2021 Sportsperson of the Year award.

The talented batter donned the role of an opener alongside the profound Sophie Devine in the 2021-22 edition of Women's Super Smash. In 11 innings, Plimmer accumulated 133 runs while registering the top score of 34.

The young gun was the best fielder for Wellington in their victorious campaign, with eight catches.

The wicketkeeper was named as a replacement for the injured Lauren Down in the 2022 edition of the Women's World Cup. Although she did not feature in any games, the proficient batter made the right noises.

Soon, the glove-woman received a maiden central contract from New Zealand Cricket. Afterwards, she was also named to the 15-member squad of the Commonwealth Games.

Plimmer was a part of the New Zealand squad for the 2023 ICC U-19 Women's World Cup, where India Women showed the doors. Her impressive run helped to fetch a call-up in the Senior Women's T20 World Cup. She carries a lot of promise for the future, and it's just a matter of time before Plimmer gains the limelight.
