Baltej Singh Dhanda is a right-arm medium pacer who represents Punjab in India's domestic circuit. Baltej has been part of the squad for a while now and was also a stand-in player for the U-19 World Cup in 2010, held in New Zealand.
The Ludhiana-born has played fourteen first-class games for Punjab and has scalped 37 wickets with career-best figures of 4/64. The Punjab cricketer also has 22 T20 appearances to his name and accumulated 26 wickets for his side.
Baltej, who once thought of leaving the sport with a lack of opportunities, was picked up by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the India Premier League (IPL) mega-auctions of 2022 for the base price of INR 20 lakhs. The seamer has been a part of the franchise earlier as a net bowler and this time around will look to ply his trade as a full-time member of the squad.
