A right-handed top-order batsman, Kashyap Prajapati is a professional cricketer for the Oman National team. Born in Kheda, Gujarat, he moved to Oman for a better future in cricket and arrived at the domestic circuit in 2021.
Prajapati was presented with his maiden international cap for Oman in September 2021 in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. He made his ODI debut against Papua New Guinea on September 26th, 2021 and gave a good start at the top of the order, scoring a quickfire 22 on his debut.
A month later, the 26-year old was named in the mega ICC Event held in UAE, making his T20I debut in the opening match against PNG on October 17th, 2021. Having just arrived in the Oman national team, he has become a valuable asset to the team and would be looking to fulfil the given role in the upcoming years.
