Predominantly a bowling allrounder, Charis Scott is a professional Scottish cricketer who was first capped at the international level in June 2019 when she was just a 17-year old teenager.
Prior to her debut, Scott was impressive playing at Essendon Maribyrnong Park Ladies Cricket Club in Melbourne and returned as an improved all-rounder to make her debut against Germany women in the World Cup Qualifiers Europe region. With just a handful of international games under her belt, the youngster would be hoping to make the most of every opportunity presented to her to secure a permanent spot in the Scottish women’s team.
