A product of the Ragama Cricket Club, Koshan Dhanushka is a Sri Lankan cricketer who was touted to be the next big thing in Sri Lankan cricket.
Dhanushka made his T20 debut for his home team, Ragama in the 2015-16 AIA Premier T20 Tournament. He started out brilliantly in his career but eventually lost his way in the middle.
The right-arm off-break bowler has also been plagued with injuries and fitness concerns in recent times. In August 2021, he was named in the SLC Greys team for the SLC Invitational T20 League tournament. However, prior to the tournament, Dhanushka failed the fitness test and questions were raised about his desire to succeed at the highest level.
So far, Dhanushka has struggled to make a mark at the domestic level. In 11 first-class games, he has only managed to pick up 21 wickets at an average of 40.90.
