Player Bio
Taylor Ryan CornallBorn in Lancashire, Taylor Ryan-Cornall is a graceful left-handed opening batter who rarely rolls his arm over with his gentle left-arm orthodox bowling.

Cornall fell in love with cricket at a pretty young age, regularly featuring for the U16s, U17s and U19s of the Lancashire CCC Boys side and built a good reputation as an opening batter.

The Lancashire-born cricketer made his First-Class debut on March 26th, 2019, against Derbyshire while representing Leeds/Bradford MCC University in the Marylebone Cricket Club University fixtures.

Cornall got out to Ravi Rampaul in both innings, scoring only 24 runs on his debut. He had a quiet outing against Yorkshire in his next game. Since then, he hasn't featured in any First-Class games.

Taylor worked hard on his skills during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, and in August 2021, Lancashire handed Ryan his List A debut against Durham in the 2021 edition of the Royal London ODI-Cup.

The 23-year-old wasn't getting the deserved game-time and went to Kent on a short loan before heading to West Midlands, signing for Worcestershire in the winter of 2022.

This move has been proving fruitful for the talented left-handed batter as he racked up a fine 106 on his debut for Worcs second XI while following on against Yorkshire second XI. The southpaw has also scored some crucial fifties this year and looks ready to make it to Worcestershire's first team very soon.
