Player Bio

A valuable middle-order batter, Annemijn Hedwig-Thomson is a professional cricketer for the Netherlands. After impressing with the 'A' side, she received her maiden call-up for the 2018 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier but didn’t get an opportunity to showcase her skills.

Thomson’s dream came true when she received her debut cap in a T20I fixture against Ireland Women in August 2019. It was a forgettable debut for the debutant as she was dismissed on just 5 runs in a horrific loss. Since making her debut, she has featured in most of the international matches bringing a lot of experience to the relatively young Dutch women’s side.
