Player Bio

A young teenage sensation, Archie Lenham is a 16-year old leg-spinner who is making waves through English domestic cricket. Archie is one of the youngsters coming through the Sussex academy who used to play club cricket for Eastbourne.

The Eastbourne-born leggie was handed his debut cap in the T20 Vitality Blast against Gloucestershire on June 11th, 2021. Archie burst onto the scene in the Vitality Blast, taking 3 for 14 against Hampshire, and completed a wonder catch against Surrey. By doing so, he became the first player to play in the competition having been born after its inception.

The young leggie who likes using his change-ups, bowling quickly, and flat has quickly adapted himself to the English domestic cricket. Still a teenager, Archie would hope to keep on improving to bring consistency and efficiency to make a name for himself in County cricket.
