A tall left-arm seamer, Jack Campbell is a professional English cricketer for Durham’s second XI side. An academy product of Hampshire, he put up a string of impressive performances for the second XI and earned a call-up to the England u-19 squad, and made his debut against South Africa in July 2018.
Campbell is currently finishing his studies at Durham University and appeared for their MCCU side against his home team in March 2019. His abilities are more inclined towards the shortest format and he is yet to make a senior appearance for Durham in the Championship.
At 21, the youngster made his T20 Blast debut against Northants in June 2021 and took the wicket of Ben Curran on his debut. Predominantly a white-ball cricketer, Campbell is gradually making progress to break into the red ball team of Durham and establish his place in the senior side.
