Player Bio

Mitchell Stanley is an English cricketer who plays for Worcestershire in the English County.

A right-arm fast bowler, Stanley was born in Telford and signed his first professional contract with Worcestershire in 2019. He is a product of the club’s academy and has represented Worcestershire at 2nd level cricket.

His career was derailed after suffering a serious elbow injury in 2018. However, Stanley worked hard and was back on track within a few months.

So far, he has featured for the Worcestershire second XI, and the aim would be to climb the ladder and feature in the first team squad. Stanley’s pace has declined a bit post his elbow injury, but the desire to succeed remains the same.
