A composed and disciplined top-order batsman, Alex Milton is a professional cricketer for the Worcestershire County Club. The former Malvern College pupil made his first-class debut for the Cardiff Club University playing against Hampshire on April 4th, 2016 at just 20 years of age.
On his senior debut for Worcestershire, Milton scored an unbeaten century against Somerset in 2018 and became only the second Englishman for Worcestershire to accomplish this feat. After scoring two hundreds for the seconds the wicketkeeper hit a splendid 74 against Australia at Blackfinch New Road in August 2019.
Milton marked his debut season with 7 Championship appearances scoring a century on his debut. After a prolific season for the second XI, Milton was hoping to make his first-team debut, but Ben Cox’s return into the squad saw the former dropped from the playing XI.
With just a year left on his Worcestershire contract, Milton would be hoping to get some game time to revive his long-lost career.
