Player Bio
From being a professional skier who took part in several World Cup skiing events to donning the Australian cricket jersey, Dirk Nannes has done it all. The left-arm quick, who was plying his trade for the Netherlands, got noticed after playing in IPL 2009. He soon got called up to play for the Australian national side. Capable of clocking speeds of up to 150 kmph, Nannes is now leading the life of a globetrotting Twenty20 specialist. He travels across the length and width of the world to partake in the various T20 leagues. In all, Nannes has represented a whopping 12 teams, including Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. In IPL 2013 he will add one more colour in his rainbow-like cricketing closet – CSK’s yellow.
