Player Bio

Teenage all-round prodigy, Daniel Ibrahim is a professional English cricketer for Sussex County. Ibrahim, whose father used to play domestic cricket in Pakistan has been the main reason behind the youngster’s success. 

The Burnley-born all-rounder signed his first professional contract with Sussex in the 2021 summer and made his first-class debut against Yorkshire on June 3rd, 2021. The 17-year old became the youngest player to make a half-century on his debut and followed it up with another fifty against Glamorgan.

After impressing for the first team at the tender age of 17, Ibrahim received his maiden national call-up from the U-19 English side for the limited-overs series against West Indies. He made his debut for the Three Lions on September 14th, 2021 and scalped his maiden international wicket for the youth side.
