Player Bio

Ria Ashleigh Fackrell is an English women’s cricketer who plays for the Birmingham Phoenix, Warwickshire and Central Sparks. 

A right-handed batter and a right-arm off-break bowler, Fackrell has also played for Lancashire Thunder and Lightning. 

She joined the Warwickshire academy at the age of 10 and made her county debut for Shropshire in 2017 against a strong Hertfordshire squad. She played the first half of the 2017 domestic season for Shropshire and returned back to Warwickshire towards the second half of the season. 

In 2019, Fackrell finally managed to score her maiden county half-century, scoring an unbeaten 65 against Lancashire. 

In 2021, it was announced that Fackrell was signed up by Birmingham Phoenix for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Hundred competition. 

Born in Coventry, Fackrell was a generational talent and was scouted at a fairly young age. She has played for a number of teams across the globe and has always performed at the highest level.
