Born in Guildford, Aylish Cranstone is a middle-order batter representing Surrey in domestic cricket.

Cranstone made her professional debut for Hampshire in 2008, aged 13. From 2011 to 2016, she played for Devon. The talented batter emerged as the leading run-scorer in the 2012, 2013, and 2016 editions of the County Championship.

In the 2018 edition of the Women’s Twenty20 Cup, the Guildford-born emerged as Surrey's top batter with 180 runs in six innings.

The elegant batter scored 116 runs in six matches for South East Stars in the 2020 edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. In the later part of the same year, she signed a full-time domestic contract.

Cranstone continued her shilly-shally form in the 2021 season of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy by hitting 123 runs in six innings.

Although she was a part of the London Spirit in the 2021 edition of Women’s Hundred, she could not feature in any of the games.

The 27-year batter accumulated 235 runs in seven innings at an average of 58.75. In this pursuit, she emerged as the top run-scorer for Stars in the 2022 edition of the Charlotte Edwards Cup.

She has been part of the winning side, Oval Invincible Women in the 2022 edition of the Women’s Hundred.
