Player Bio
An all-rounder who bowls medium pace and hit them big, Cooper was part of the Trinidad & Tobago team that competed in the 2011 CLT20 and was signed by the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2012. The Trinidadian, who made his first-class debut in 2012, has impressive numbers in the Twenty20 format. Cooper’s bowling action was reported and he travelled to Perth to have it examined and rectified. He is back on the park, and is going about the business of picking up wickets. He put in some very impressive performances in the six games that he played for RR before an injury caused him to miss the rest of the tournament in 2012. However, the West Indian pacer returned an improved performance with the ball in the 2013 season, picking up 19 wickets in 14 games. Cooper will continue to wear the RR jersey in 2014 as a valuable performer with the bat and ball besides being an asset in the field.
