Player Bio

Amy Hunter - NOT THE ACTRESS, is an upcoming young prodigy for Ireland Cricket. She is a wicketkeeper-batter who earned her national contract at 15 years of age. She is a hard-hitting top-order batter who loves bashing sixes.

Hunter started her cricket career at Instonians where she debuted for Typhoons Women during the 2020 season. The teenager impressed one and all in the domestic game that year and helped the Typhoons to the inaugural Women's Super Series title. There was no looking back after that for the youngster, soon Hunter was contracted by the Ireland Cricket Board, appearing in the five-match series at La Manga in Spain.

Hunter is young but her talent is no less than anyone. And with Ireland starting to get their due opportunities, now, the wicketkeeper-batter has all the merits to become a global superstar, in the coming times.
