Player Bio

An effective gloveman and an explosive lower-order batsman, Jean Pierre-Kotze is a professional Namibian cricketer who was first capped at the domestic stage back in 2013 when he made his first-class debut against KwaZulu-Natal in March.

The 2013 season saw the rise of the 19-year old, making his domestic debut for Namibia across all formats after his stint in the U-19 colors for the associate nation. With over 150 domestic appearances, JP Kotze made his international debut in an ODI fixture against Oman when they gained the ODI status in April 2019.

Predominantly a white-ball cricketer, he has secured his place in the upcoming T20 World Cup squad of Namibia and would be hoping to fulfil the given role going into the premier ICC tournament.
