Player Bio

Nicol Loftie-Eaton is a Namibian cricketer who was deemed a history maker - when the all-rounder scored 156 runs apart from scalping a hattrick with his wily leg-break bowling variation, during a domestic game.

Loftie-Eaton started playing the sport at a very young age, as the allrounder was a part of Namibia’s U-15 team, before donning the national colours in the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup. Just after the global tournament, he made his domestic debut for Namibia in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge in February 2018.

The talent and prowess have been standout criteria for Loftie-Eaton, as the all-rounder didn’t take too long to find his spot in the national team. In June 2019, he was one of the 25 cricketers to be named in Cricket Namibia's Elite Men's Squad ahead of the 2019–20 international season. Later that year, he was one of three rookie players to be awarded a national contract.

At 20, Loftie-Eaton is all set to showcase his all-round prowess during the T20 World Cup, to be held in 2021, where Namibia would look to seal a spot for the Super 12 round.
