Mauritius Ngupita

A crafty right-arm off-break, Mauritius Ngupita is a professional Namibian cricketer who started playing age-group cricket for the U-15s and U-19s Namibian squad. 

The 20-year old arrived at the domestic circuit in February 2018, making his first-class debut against KwaZulu Natal in the Sunfoil three-day Cup. In the latter stages of 2019, Ngupita became one of three rookie players to be awarded a national contract from the Namibian Cricket team.

Yet to make his international debut for the associate nation, the youngster was named in Namibia’s squad for the 2021 T20 World Cup. With no prior experience at the international stages, Ngupita would be looking to make the most of this opportunity to learn from the international stars and secure his place in the national squad.
