Player Bio

Another promising cricketer to have come out of South Australia’s U-23 setup, Daniel Drew is an Australian cricketer who plays for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League.

Born in Ashford, South Australia, Drew made his first-class debut for South Australia during the 2019-20 Sheffield Shield tournament. In his debut match against Tasmania, Drew scored just 9 runs and was knocked over by Riley Meredith.

A crafty right-handed middle-order batter, Drew made his T20 debut for the Strikers against Renegades during the 2021-22 BBL season. He scored a quick-fire 23 in that game, but that wasn’t enough for the Strikers to cross the finish line.
